Cruises are a big deal
The biggest cruise ship, the Carnival Triumph, is already under construction.
But, it could soon be used for other types of travel.
Cruise ships have been a key part of the cruise industry for more than a century.
But they have seen a gradual shift towards automated systems over the last few decades.
Now, the biggest cruise ships in the world are under construction and a new one is scheduled to sail in 2019.
Cruises are growing at a fast rate.
Cruise lines are taking advantage of technology to reduce costs, increase comfort and speed, while improving the environment.
But the new technology isn’t always good for the environment, according to a new report from the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The report said that cruise ships are now more than twice as polluting as air travel.
The average cruise ship uses about 2.4 million metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2), compared to a mere 1.4 tons for air travel, according the WEF.
Cruisers also are now far more likely to use technology to create hazardous environments like toxic smog.
They have been implicated in the deaths of millions of people around the world, the WEFA said.
The cruise industry has responded by making environmental improvements.
But in the new report, we identified some of the problems that have led to this shift and how they could be tackled.
We’re not going to be able to go back to cruise ships as they were.
We can’t go back into the days of a ship that was not designed to take on the ocean,” said Rebecca Dyer, head of the environmental research at the WEFP.”
It’s time for cruise ships to be the cleanest, most environmentally sustainable form of travel,” she said.
We are already seeing a lot of improvements in cruise lines’ environmental performance.
We think there are a lot more ways that cruise lines can be more environmentally responsible.”
But the industry is not alone.
Several other countries have adopted a new global approach to cruise ship design and management.
These include the United States, China and Australia.
“This has really taken the industry by surprise.
We’re seeing an acceleration of cruise ship emissions and environmental degradation.
We’ve seen an explosion of pollution in China,” said John Lueger, senior vice president for environmental and sustainability at the Sea Change Foundation, a nonprofit environmental organization.
The WEF report said cruise ships need to be redesigned to reduce CO2 emissions, and they should be built with more environmental sustainability features like solar panels.
In addition, cruise lines should be required to create safe, clean, and renewable energy for the ship’s propulsion systems and waste management systems.
“These changes could also help reduce environmental impacts on the ship and the environment and the amount of fuel that is used on the cruise ship,” said Luegers report.
Cruising is not just a cruise line’s job anymore.
It is a key component of global commerce, he said.
“It’s not just about how many people you’re bringing with you, it’s also about how much economic activity you create.”
