Cruise Driver System: A Virtual Reality Experience That’s Cruising at 60 in 4K
We spent time with a new virtual reality headset that lets you ride around a giant cruise ship in real-time.
The ride is seamless, seamless, seamlessly, smoothly.
The headset can display all the information you need to navigate your way around the ship, such as speed and direction.
It can also display information from onboard cameras, so you can see your position in the ship’s viewfinder, and you can even look up at the ship as it passes you.
We tried it out and we’re still not completely convinced that this is the best virtual reality experience we’ve ever experienced, but at least it’s better than the Oculus Rift headset, which has a limited number of motion sensors.
The VR version of the Oculus experience is available for free, but the Oculus app can be downloaded to your smartphone.
You can also purchase the Oculus headset, a headset that has a larger field of view, a longer battery life, and an additional set of motion-sensing sensors.
